Inside Reveal Fix
An interior mount has a clean, streamlined appearance. Due to the space necessary to accommodate brackets, you may see a stream of light streaming through on each side of the blind. If you're contemplating an inside mount, be sure there are no obstructions that might impede the movement of the blind, such as larger windowsills or window winders.
Outside Face Fixing
With an outside mount, the blind is either placed on the window frame itself or completely outside the frame on the wall. When combined with a pelmet (the short border of fabric or wood running along the top of the blind to cover curtain fittings), an outside mount gives a simple and professional finish, as well as additional aesthetic versatility because the blind's size isn't as important.

- Clear/tinted PVC should be first rinsed with clean water then cleaned with ‘Vuplex’ (available from Bunnings) and a soft clean cloth
- Mesh fabric should be cleaned with warm soapy water (mild dish detergent is fine) on a soft cloth or soft broom then rinsed with clean water
- Canvas fabric should be cleaned with warm soapy water (mild dish detergent is fine) on a soft cloth then rinsed with clean water. Once dry, the canvas should be treated with fabric water proofer (available from most camping and hardware stores)
It is recommended to perform cleaning and lubrication processes (located in our maintenance instructions) every 3 to 6 months depending on the environment i.e high dust and dirt areas or coastal areas will require maintenance every 3 months
Yes, our highly trained and certified team at Sunblinds will provide a free measure and quotation service. In addition, we have skilled installers to install your products.
We have highly qualified personnel that are happy to discuss your options and give knowledgeable guidance. Our showroom also includes a variety of samples to give you some fantastic visual ideas, as well as fabric samples that you can borrow for 24 to 48 hours to see how they might appear within your house.
